Warehouse Order Picker – Nights

Job Purpose

Prepare orders for next day deliveries by collecting the necessary product from warehouse shelves using a motorized pallet jack and placing orders on pallets, in a safe and error free manner for efficient loading, unloading, and departure of trucks.

Duties and Responsibilities

Pick orders for trucks to be loaded onto pallets by selecting products from assigned slots according to order label using motorized pallet jack or forklift.
Once product has been picked, check and load products onto assigned Casa Import trucks.
Clean aisles, keeping them free from debris including: stacking pallets, disposing of cardboard, and sweeping the loading area.

Qualifications

HS diploma or equivalent preferred.
Prior warehouse experience preferred.

Physical Requirements

Moderate mental and visual attention required for performing manual work, machine operations, and operating mobile equipment in congested areas or involving considerable variety of movement.
Work is physically demanding. Ability to balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl, reach, sit, stand, walk, push, pull, lift, use fingers, grasp, feel, talk, hear, and perform repetitive motions.
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally, and/or up to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or up to 25 pounds of force constantly to move objects.

Compensation: $13.00 after six weeks paid by number picks
